My summarized impression about #Malka-Older's book #Infomocracy:
I finished reading Malka Olderâs *Infomocracy* a while ago, and Iâve been trying to process it. This was undoubtedly one of the most frightening dystopias Iâve ever read, not because it features monsters or creepy creatures or objects, but because it feels so plausible and so timely. The story is set in the second half of this century. A super-entity, or super-organization, called **Information** holds data on everything and everyone â every place, every person â and everybody spends their lives glued to their smartphones (called 'handheldsâ in the book), sifting through and peering at this data. A future without privacy that is more than likely.
When AI will take over, what will remain of humanity?
