Tyler's cover, which was you can watch below – is taken from the Bowie's 1971 no-skips record Hunky Dory – and was part of Best Fit's secret sessions, which also saw performances from The Orchestra (For Now),Throwing Muses, Silver Gore, Truman Sinclair, Jake Xerxes Fussell, The Sophs, Ellie O Neil, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, jasmine.4.t, Lily Seabird, and Stewart Lee with Black Country, New Road. The LA via Rhode Island crooner signed to Rough Trade Records earlier this year and is gearing up to release his debut full-length album, For The First Time, Again, produced by longtime collaborators Jonathan Rado and Ryan Pollie. Best Fit's secret sessions have become a key part of End of the Road each year, bringing together artists from across the line-up in a series of short sets, exlusive cover, collaborations, and live interviews and Q&As. Past guests have included Lucy Dacus, St Vincent, Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, Moses Sumney, Laura Marling, Patti Smith, and Frightened Rabbit - who played a now iconic version of "The Modern Leper". Tickets for End of the Road Festival's 20th anniversary edition in 2026 are onsale now from endoftheroadfestival.com".
I fucking love this festival, relentless rain and all.
Self Esteem really is an artist to be treasured.
@swisslet @substandardnerd any #eotr recommendations for a first-timer?
Either bands this year or festival itself, and I guess we can use Green Man as a reference point since we've all been there!
Does it operate the same alcohol system as GM, ie. you're not officially allowed to bring beer into the stage area but everyone does?
I did a hypothetical what would I watch at #glastonbury2025 on Clashfinder, and there were fewer bands than I plan to see at #greenman and #EOTR.
Happy with my festival choices this year. (and wouldn't want to push my luck after my first ever 100% sunny Glastonbury last year)
