The Day I always put off until absolutely necessary. It's me using the latest version of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Why? Because they always always try to change enough basic tools and the options to "make it easier" which in this case means to more fully force Ai onto the process. Even though I DON’T WANT TO USE Ai. Arrgh, this simple edit to remove some dust shops and background distractions just took me about 1 1/2 hours. And worse yet, it is truly unclear if Adobe is not automatically converting the images you import into DNG, because I don't see that in any files. What I did find is that all the first images I applied the 2026 metadata I chose are all suddenly in .tif format (yay I selected that) BUT put them ALL into a new folder I DIDN'T EXPECT. And now they are all labeled with file names of .tif photos but the ONE file I exported as a trial run now was really really hard to find since ALL PHOTOS are now there, showing my Date Created as today, and all my original EXIF data, like ACTUAL DATE I created the photo is gone.
Anyway, just to increase my agony, here is a small vversion (for me, pixels 1200 x 900) and I've tried to reduce the photo sharpness to a lower percentage since I always edit photos full size, which is iPhone Pro Max 2998 or so by 3998 or so. Whatever. If this phioto is truly offensive to me as I now attempt to share on Ivory, don't be surprised if it goes poof! I hate hate hate all the Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom changes annually. And where the heck did my Camera Raw app go?
