What confuses me the most about HRT for menopause is the assertion that adding estrogen back is DANGEROUS, yet I spent 19 years fighting to get sterilized even though pregnancy would have increased my estrogen levels to approximately 100x the levels of a non pregnant person by week 32.

So according to every OBGYN I have seen in my whole life MHT= scary dangerous blood clots!! but 100x that amount of estrogen from pregnancy = no big deal because it’s my duty to stroke out so we have more kids for the wealthy and religious to molest.

I should stop reading things like this because they just piss me off. And I guess I am still traumatized from misogynistic medical neglect.

Wooo! Estrogen/progesterone is a double edged sword isn't it? I feel like I have my brain back, my inspiration, my creative drive back, but also feelings.
I'm sleeping great, restorative sleep, even if woken up early. I find waking up its a tad bit harder to conk back out (early morning pee) but also that liminal space in the too-early morning is very exciting...ideas, thoughts, a brain ready to work.🧠
