our project “Semantic x-Lab” wants to interlink information from different lab-internal systems such as instrument 🔬 and method databases and #ElectronicLabNotebooks, and external sources such as publication #repositories and #Wikidata, in #KnowledgeGraph|s. 🕸️ Our aim is to integrate metadata from previously isolated systems and find new connections in experiments across research centers. 🏛️
We invite you to join us at this year’s #HMCConference2026 - Metadata in Action, where we will be hosting an extended workshop. We are going to present our use cases and first project results. But we would also like to hear your thoughts!

The new service makes existing data citation relationships in our metadata available, thereby surfacing this part of the research nexus. At the same time, we’ve decided that it’s time to move on from Event Data.
