Toran ShawToday I finished #book 20 of this year's #52BookChallenge, 'Death of a Gossip' by #MCBeaton... it's the first book of the #HamishMacbeth series. It's also for prompt 37, a genre chosen by someone else. It is a drawing room #mystery that was chosen for me by a friend.
I'm not really too sure what to make of this book, as it was a rather long build up, with a short investigation. I'll probably carry on with this series, but it won't be a priority, unless it starts getting better.

Cosy cotswold village whodunnit with a funny heroine and plenty of other engaging characters. An easy read with a nice, quirky feel to it. I enjoyed it but not enough to actively look for others. Probably good books to read on journeys.
