I’ve just listened again to Stormy Monday by Little Milton. I haven’t listened to it for ages. His voice, the guitar. It’s just wonderful, like getting into a warm bath. There is also an audacious one-note guitar solo to boot. It’s on YouTube and such if you’re interested.

#blues

Sources for Jerry's playing style that are not recordings of Jerry: Well Little Milton working with the Stax crew here is a good example, of note is Milton's righteous second pass at the main solo, also the ridiculous vamp. It should all sound pleasantly familiar to Jerry Band fans!
