Has anyone had success setting up Tap to Pay on LineageOS for microG?

I've tried with my bank's app: it gets stuck in the process before being able to enable the actual tap to pay bits.

I've tried google wallet: it just keeps loading perpetually on a "Choose an account to use with Go...[ogle Wallet]" screen without listing accounts.

I'd love to use tap to pay, but i can't :/ (and I will NOT replace microG with GApps). but is it even possible?

So first thoughts about LineageOS (my first time really using Android), coming from postmarketOS (and way before that, iOS):

- The gestures are very flowy
- Apps can integrate with the system much better (widgets, persistent status notifications, KDE Connect)
- People hate on the new discord mobile too much
- I miss my GTK4/Libadwaita apps
