Happy Distaff Day! The twelve days of Christmas are over and it is back to work for spinsters. I do not own a distaff but don't ask me to count all my spindles. Anyway, the next 3 bobbins of this project are done which means I'll be plying the next few days.

The first batch is seven skeins of probably worsted weight. Picture is before washing. Yarn is currently soaking. This is only about 2/3 of the fiber.

Somehow this turned into 485 yds of squooshilicious yarn. The yarn is poofy enough that it doesn't seem possible that there could be that much yardage in 111 g. I counted and recounted. Is this the magic of lofty longdraw compared to smooth tight worsted? Fun fact: according to my calculations, the grist is 400 meters per 100 grams. Wasn't even trying and hit round numbers.
