Just a sneak peek at the campaign I'm working on. We've had one session, which was really just me finding a somewhat corny bridge between the Arden Vul game we abandoned into the new thing...

Currently working through #City26 to build out the starting location, which I *think* will tide us over for quite some time.

Canopy, and the World Beyond

You know what bums me out? I spend all day at work doodling ideas for my #ttrpg campaigns or reading blogs in between meetings or whatever, and then when I'm off work, actually opening the books or firing up #legendkeeper and working on my game stuff seems like too much.

In this week's video I'm showing off my #LegendKeeper GM Bible and giving away a copy so you can get started #worldbuilding with LK as quick as possible!

How I Run My TTRPG Campaigns With LegendKeeper

YouTube

Finally caved and got #LegendKeeper for my #DnD obsession!

Now to move everything from Notion into it...

And also, my decision to enforce strict timekeeping and build a real calendar/timeline in #LegendKeeper super paid off.

The setting book says a certain market takes place on a certain day of the week, and when the player asked how many days away that was, it was so awesome to know EXACTLY. Another part of the book says a certain NPC comes by once a month, so I was able to make an entry and will know for sure if he and the players are in town at the same time next month.

I keep forgetting to share this new free Online RPG Authoring tool. A new component that was made available in the #Legendkeeper Online Campaign Project keeper, Timelines, is now free to use without needing to subscribe to the whole suite.

I do recommend LK as a way to keeping and creating your RPG (system agnostic wiki pages with maps and image vaults). Timelines now has a very useful way to track events and histories of the places and peoples of your world.

@hedgepig You most probably know this and it doesn't tick the boxes, *but* you can download your projects in html, I believe, over at #LegendKeeper. It's a paid service, but the dev promises you'll always retain control of your content.
Always want to mention it when someone brings up WorldAnvil, because LK is so much more free in many ways.
Random maps and #LegendKeeper and this guy's well on his way to a #hexcrawl
#LegendKeeper really is such great software. I don't know why I have a roving eye. I started setting up a #hexcrawl this afternoon and it's just so damn elegant. Used Watabou to generate a map, upload to LK and then just dropping pins like a clumsy acupuncturist.
It's really absurd how obsessed I am with trying out various #ttrpg campaign managers. I'm a paid user of #LegendKeeper, and I love it, and my current campaign is managed with it...

And yet I still make test accounts on all of them. It especially dumb because other than session logs, I don't think any of my players interact with whatever I'm using.
