My goodness, when you start forgetting that you crocheted a life size “laser light sword” a long time ago ya know you have made a few pieces lol! 🤦🏽♂️🤪😂 What do ya think? 🤔🤔39 inches long if I remember right lol. 🤪 It actually has a piece of 3/4 inch capped off PVC pipe in the core, surrounded by fiber fill stuffing to make it fairly squishy. The fine details are hand embroidered and painted on. 🤔I know I have GOT to get better pics, it’s just a little difficult when your mannequin fights ya at every photo shoot lol! 😂 It's available in my online store if you are interested! 😎

Spotted in my RSS feeds: https://youraislopbores.me/. Larp as an AI and ask questions of other humans larping as an AI.
https://rbfirehose.com/2026/03/10/youraislopbores-me/A client of mine in America was feeling concerned about all the things and was questioning whether playing D&D was actually doing any good in the world. This week it clicked open for them that there is great good when we engage in role play, learning to work as a group, learning to lean into personal skills and resources, learning the necessity of mutual aid, learning to take risks without knowing the outcome... All of these things are found in playing Dungeons and Dragons as a group.
FANTASY IS THE PROVING GROUND FOR REALITY BUILDING
So, that's it. Build a new world in whatever way makes sense, create it in your mind first and allow your actions to follow naturally. Keep playing, keep trying, keep going.
So a rather new trend in the bookish community is female knights in the fantasy genre - often called
"medievalcore".
This kind of amuses me, because in German fantasy larping, I have seen plenty of female knights in full armour for at least 10 years. In other words, they have been there long before it got trendy.
