There must be no hint of "I am willing to talk to you, trans-hater, so what you are saying has some legitimacy."

We are talking to give you a chance to see that any explanation you give doesn't hold water and is inconsistent with your other values. And to reveal why your think that way, and so we can understand why you can be so wrong and yet so passionate about a wrong cause.
