Tonight I learned about the ICE Out Hat, also tonight I liberated two skeins of yarn from my partner’s stash. Hopefully tomorrow will yield a new favourite toque – knit community, knit resistance. 🧶

Introducing Villa Borghese: A Stroll Through Italian Gardens

I'm excited to introduce my newest colourway: Villa Borghese! Inspired by the lush, historic gardens in the heart of Rome, this blend of soft greens, sunlit golds, and earthy browns captures the charm of wandering shaded paths and admiring centuries-old sculptures.

Dyeing this colourway felt like painting a memory of warm, late-afternoon walks — the kind where time slows down, and you notice every dapple of sunlight and every rustling leaf. The result is a yarn that feels organic yet elegant, perfect for projects that celebrate nature’s subtleties.

I've added Villa Borghese to the shop, and I can't wait to see what you'll create with it. If you make something special, don't forget to tag me — I’d love to share your work!

Let me know what you think. Would you knit a shawl reminiscent of garden walks or a cosy pair of socks for quiet moments at home?

The sun is shining, the dye pots are bubbling, and I’m completely in love with mohair. ✨ There’s something about this fibre—its airy softness, the way it catches the light, the gentle halo that makes every stitch feel like a dream. Today’s batch is fresh from the pots, glowing in the sunlight, and I can’t wait to see it on the needles. ☁️💛

Mohair has a way of wrapping you in warmth without weight, of turning simple stitches into something ethereal. What’s your favourite thing about knitting with mohair?

Knitting on the train to work today! Honestly one of the best things i picked up during the coronavirus because it helps to deal with the anxiety and mundanity of commute. Only gripe I have is that Singapore is too hot to knit thicker materials (only cotton, bamboo, rayon etc works here….) #knitting #yarn #knittingcommunity
