Grey lace shawl with size 8 Miyuki silver lined smoke amethyst AB beads. Pattern is Be Still My Soul by Anna Victoria. It is staked out to within an inch of it's life.
marthasteriasI just love knitting with homespun. Even when thoroughly washed it just feels alive, unlike yarn from the shop.
This one documents my efforts to improve in English long draw over the past months. Starting at the bottom with the first and more inconsistent skeins, working up to some yoke colourwork with that gradual change in skill. Not sure if it's actually visible, but I certainly feel more confident!
