I had a long post planed about how #Maythe4th, intentionally or not, obscures a shameful and important part of #AmericanHistory, and then I slept in.
So I'm going to keep this brief (for me) and remind everyone who reads this that today is ALSO the fifty fifth #anniversary of the #KentStateShooting.
Something a TAD more important than #StarWars, and would be even if the #UnitedStates WASN'T becoming a pale imitation of "The Empire."

I learned last year that May 4th, 1970 was the day of the #KentStateShooting.
The picture of a young girl kneeling over a student killed from a shot to the head came from this.
Tomorrow will be the #55Anniversary of four students shot and killed by national guard. And now someone much worse than #Nixon is in charge.
