After our dev lead meeting with our boss I felt I made the right choice to leave. He is pushing AI to "speed up the development process" while not listening to our (dev leads) advice on what we need to keep the development process going during our architecture restructure.

I am thinking of transitioning to a role which I'd consider more aligned with my moral and ethical values than my present corporate job is, and I'm thinking to start learning stuff for becoming a junior #dataanalyst especially with relation to #foss - as I consider it important to my worldview and values.
Has anyone here walked the same - or similar - path? learning #SQL , #python etc and achieved some success, if only on personal level?
Any insights or advice would be much appreciated.
