(for the record, these aren't great. I expected a proper Jaffa layer but no, it's more like the thinnest caramel layer you can possibly imagine, slightly brushed with a Jaffa flavour. As always, nobody - apparently not even #McVities - should try to mess with the JaffaCake!)

I made a big Jaffa cake for Kara's birthday, and it turned out great. Baked a sponge cake, made a gelatin out of orange marmalade, and put melted dark chocolate over that.
#Today I'm off sick from work, after working from home with flu-like symptoms for the last week it's now made it's way to my eyes and given me conjunctivitis π«
Vision is blurry with all the gunk, so I'm trying to limit my screen time and cheer myself up with some hot chocolate and a twin pack of Jaffa Cakes!
They do new flavours now. Beef is one of the worst. Mackerel made me vomit.
