Doom Disco!For me, The #GreenBoneSaga is undoubtedly one of the best #fantasy / #urbanfantasy (?) book series of recent years. I'm also really into #martialarts (e.g. #KungFuHustle) and #wuxia films.
A well-made #JadeCity role-playing game could be something for me.

I get a very 80svibe from the early series, Shae walking into a high powered “man’s” role would definitely power shoulderpad it up…
Hilo and Anden from Jade City. Through the entire trilogy I just love how their family relationship is, highs and lows. Also consider the first time we see them interact Anden already knows to take off his glasses cos Hilo is gonna really fight him for a “joke”. They’re both messed up…

Which is to say that I binge-read #jadecity yesterday bc I put the book on hold and it close to overdue bc I couldn't renew it 😞
Honestly the immersion you get from focusing on one piece of media from start to finish really feels so different, especially with fantasy or books with immense world building
