Fonda Lee is a Canadian-American author of speculative fiction, best known for the Green Bone Saga, beginning with the World Fantasy Award-winning Jade City. A black belt martial artist, she also writes SF including the YA novel Zeroboxer. Her work earned Hugo and Nebula nominations and a Locus Award win.

Finally read and finished Fonda Lee's *The Jade Setter of Janloon*, a prequel novella to the action in *Jade City*. I'm sorry I waited so long, because it was really, really good. Not to give too much away, but if you've been following the news or popular hashtags this week, *very* on-point.
