MDZS Jadecest Week Prompt Ideas (2023)

A few weeks ago we posted an interest check for a Jadecest event and got a lot of enthusiastic responses. Jadecest Week has won, so now we would love to hear about your favorite prompts. What Prompts will look like: For every day of Jadecest week, we will have 3 prompts from 3 different categories. The categories are Trope, Kink, and Expression of Love. Creators can choose to include 1, 2, or all 3 prompts in their work. Everyone is free to interpret the prompts to their liking and every level of (n)sfw is welcome. Example: Trope: Soulmates, Kink: Exhibitionism/Voyeurism, Expression of Love: Sacrifice In this form, you can vote on your favorite ideas for each category and suggest your own ideas. MDZS Jadecest Event Interest Check (2023)

This is a form to evaluate the interest in a MDZS Jadecest (Lan Wangji/Lan Xichen) fandom event and to gather an estimation of the number of authors and artists who may want to participate. Possible events include: Mini Bang Artists and authors will be paired up to collaborate on a project. The author will first write a fanfiction and give it to the artists, who will take inspiration from the fanfiction to create a piece of art. Reverse Mini Bang Similar to the Mini Bang, but the artist first creates a piece of art, and the author writes a fanfiction inspired by it. Jadecest Week We provide prompts for every day of a week and you can decide for which of the prompts you want to write or make art. Gift Exchange Like a Secret Santa, but you will be gifting and receiving a fanfiction or a piece of art. The giftees will be asked to provide preferences (e.g. what they like/don't like in their gift). You are not committing to anything by filling out this interest check. If enough people are interested, we will be creating an official sign-up sheet.
