Mo Ran carrying a cup of medicine and a jar of honey and placing it in front of Chu Wanning who is reading some scrolls. Mo Ran doesn’t know, but Chu Wanning has been watching him as he brew the medicine and took the jar of honey just for him.

Without tasting it first, CWN adds a spoon of honey to the medicine and takes the cup to his lips. He takes a tiny sip and stops. He then puts down the cup and adds multiple spoons of honey.

Mo Ran can’t contain his laughter, but he hides it under his fist. Best not to anger Shizun. Chu Wanning glares at him for a moment as he did not miss that small chuckle, but decides to ignore him and drink the now sweet medicine concoction.

Carefully and without making too much noise, while Chu Wanning is focus on his drink and the scroll in front, Mo Ran walks around the desk, standing next to his Shizun. He bends down enough to place a quick peck on Chu Wanning’s cheek.

CWN: “What are you doing?” His eyes still glued to the scroll.

MR: with a wide smile “Can’t I show my affection to Shizun?”

CWN: “…”

In a bold move, MR grabs CWN’s chin and turns his head, immediately capturing his thin lips in a sweet and long kiss. CWN can’t pull off or do anything until MR lets go.

CWN: “Where do you think we are? Anybody can come in at any moment” he says with some frustration in his voice, still it sounds a bit shaky.

As if he had summoned someone, there’s a knock on the door. Chu Wanning turns away from MR and instructs the person outside to come in. Meanwhile, Mo Ran quickly grabs the now empty cup and the jar of honey from the desk and turns around.

It happens to be a Sisheng disciple delivering another scroll sent by the Sect Leader. He hands the scroll down with a bow and exits after saying hello to Mo-gongzi who is putting away all the medicinal stuff.

Mo Ran doesn’t want to be told off by Shizun for his daring actions so he turns around to apologize. Surprised, he sees CWN standing right in front of him, raising his hands to cup his cheeks and give him a small kiss on the lips. MR is stunned.

CWN: “Don’t do that again”

MR: with a wide smile “Yes, whatever Shizun says”

I’ve seen the error of my ways. I owe an apology to Mo Ran.
He is still a dummy piece of shit but with a heart, so I forgive him.

The revelation that Nangong Si raised Ye Wangxi to be exactly like his Shizun was so cool. The mystery in this novel it’s so good xD

Also, now is confirmed by the lust gourd and the bath scene, CWN does like being bully in bed, and he is completely smitten with MR.

Relating so much to CWN reactions with sexual things is making me think that I may be more asexual than I originally thought, it’s just that I grew up not knowing there was another option.

Guys, they did it 🥹 they finally did it.
The smut scene I was waiting so desperately for finally happened and it was sweeter and more tender that I could have ever imagined 💜 they build up was so *chef’s kiss

The two were able to experience their own desires in a way that was both positive and healing/healthy. Like CWN was able to move past his repression and finally let go and MR exercise restraint without hurting himself.

I’m so proud of them, it’s like watching your own children grow 🥹🥹

I love this two. I’m so afraid of what’s coming up with Nongong Xu.

I literally have heart in my eyes and my brain is so wired I’m skipping on sleep. Hehehehe it’s awesome but I have to thread carefully if I don’t want to fall in old bad habits.
