AGI - E' uno dei giorni più attesi nell'indagine sulla strage di Crans Montana dove nella notte del primo giorno dell'anno morirono tra le fiamme 41 persone, la gran parte giovanissimi, al 'Le Constellation'.
Davanti ai pm di Sion c'è Nicholas Féraud, il sindaco del Comune che mai hai lasciato la carica promettendo che si sarebbe assunto le sue "responsabilità." Féraud è entrato da un'uscita "da dietro", riferisce chi è presente all'interrogatorio in cui, in linea teorica, potrebbe anche avvalersi della facoltà di non rispondere di fronte alle accuse di omicidio, lesioni e incendio colpose in concorso con gli altri indagati e, in particolare, con Jacques Moretti e Jessica Maric, i gestori del locale.

A gennaio le prime ammissioni
Il 6 gennaio, era stato lo stesso primo cittadino ad ammettere che i controlli sulla sicurezza nel bar discoteca non era stati svolti dalla sua amministrazione dal 2020 al 2025. II Comune aveva chiesto di costituirsi parte civile nel procedimento, un'istanza però bocciata dalla magistratura. 
Il cellulare sequestrato
Féraud ha scelto di rispondere alle domande dei pubblici ministeri. Fonti legali riferiscono che gli è stato sequestrato il telefono cellulare come già accaduto con altri indagati attuali o ex funzionari del Comune sentiti nei giorni scorsi.

AGI - L'ipotesi riciclaggio si fa sempre più concreta nell'inchiesta sul rogo al 'Le Constellation' che punta anche a chiarire i movimenti di denaro delle società di Jacques Moretti e Jessica Maric. Lo scenario investigativo viene reso noto nelle ricostruzioni degli assetti societari degli inquirenti svizzeri che rivelano diverse presunte anomalie.
"Le principali criticità potrebbero portare a reati a monte legati al riciclaggio di denaro e potrebbero includere una cattiva gestione, falsificazione di documenti, frode assicurativa e gravi reati fiscali - si legge in un passaggio dell'informativa della polizia federale che tira le fila degli elementi finora emersi -. E, ancora, la gestione dei Moretti viene accostata a un famoso schema fraudolento: "L'esistenza di un presunto allestimento finanziario criminale può essere paragonato a uno schema Ponzi, in particolare nella misura in cui l'impero della coppia Moretti in Svizzera si basa solo sulla concessione di prestiti ottenuti in modo presumibilmente indebito. Questo impero si è continuamente evoluto prestando una struttura vuota, piena di ipoteche, come nel caso del 'Le Constellation' che, nel corso degli anni, ha acquisito altri bar e ristoranti nei distretti di Crans-Montana e Lens, aumentando i suoi debiti ipotecari concessi dalle istituzioni finanziarie, mentre mostrava verso l'esterno un successo commerciale fittizio, con l'esposizione di auto di lusso in leasing per conto della società".

Il Fatto Quotidiano: Strage di Crans-Montana: “Jacques Moretti ha confermato che l’uscita di emergenza era chiusa a chiave”

Ha ammesso che la porta di emergenza del seminterrato del bar Le Constellation era bloccata dall’interno e di aver sostituito lui stesso la schiuma fono assorbente che ha preso fuoco. Le indiscrezioni circolate negli scorsi giorni e riferite da alcuni testimoni trovano una clamorosa conferma: a riferire le due circostanze agli inquirenti impegnati nel far luce sulla strage di Crans-Montana, nella quale sono morti 40 giovani, è stato Jacques Moretti, il co-proprietario del locale nel quale si è consumata la tragedia poco dopo la mezzanotte di Capodanno.
A riferirlo è la televisione svizzera Rts, citando fonti confidenziali: Moretti, in carcere da venerdì, lo avrebbe ammesso davanti ai magistrati della procura di Sion durante l’interrogatorio. Il co-titolare, giunto sul posto dopo l’incendio, avrebbe anche affermato di aver sbloccato lui stesso la porta dall’esterno e di aver trovato diversi corpi esanimi ammucchiati davanti ad essa. Insieme alla moglie Jessica Maric, messa ai domiciliari con braccialetto elettronico, Moretti è accusato di omicidio colposo, incendio colposo e lesioni personali colpose. Secondo Rts, le circostanze emerse nell’interrogatorio potrebbero indurre la procura a valutare la contestazione del reato di omicidio per dolo eventuale. Swiss television RTS is reporting this, citing confidential sources: Moretti, who has been in prison since Friday, reportedly admitted this to the magistrates of the Sion prosecution office during the interrogation. The co-owner, who arrived at the scene after the fire, also stated that he had unlocked the door himself from the outside and that he found several lifeless bodies piled up in front of it. Together with his wife Jessica Maric, placed under house arrest with an electronic bracelet, Moretti is accused of manslaughter, reckless arson, and reckless personal injury. According to RTS, the circumstances revealed in the interrogation could lead the prosecution to consider charging Moretti with possible intent to kill.
