AGI - Achille Lauro ha dato un nuovo senso a uno dei suoi brani più famosi e popolari: '16 marzo'. La canzone, uscita il 3 aprile 2020, è una lettera scritta a una ragazza proprio in quella data ("il mese dei nuovi amori, quel mese in cui ogni donna torna da chi non la starà cercando più. Come me”, ha raccontato).
Adesso l'artista romano ha trasformato '16 marzo', testo che simboleggia rinascita e cambiamento, in un gesto concreto di vicinanza ai sopravvissuti del rogo di Capodanno a Crans-Montana: l'artista, che stasera è in concerto all’Unipol Forum di Assago, data inaugurale del tour nei palazzetti, ieri è andato a fare visita ai pazienti ancora ricoverati a Niguarda di Milano.

L’incontro è avvenuto poche ore prima del suo concerto serale e risponde direttamente al desiderio espresso dai pazienti dopo l’omaggio dedicato loro da Lauro durante Sanremo 2026: l'artista ha eseguito '16 marzo' in duetto con Laura Pausini e poi, cambiando la scaletta, ha dedicato alle vittime di Crans-Montana il brano 'Perdutamente', canzone che è risuonata anche ai funerali di Achille Barosi, il ragazzo milanese morto nel rogo de Le Constellation.

La visita di ieri rientra in un legame nato a fine febbraio, quando 'Perdutamente' è diventata in poche ore l’inno informale delle famiglie colpite dal rogo che ha causato 41 morti e oltre 100 feriti, e che ha visto decine di milanesi e italiani tra le vittime del disco pub Le Constellation. Stasera, durante il concerto al Forum, Lauro tornerà a eseguire il brano come promesso, chiudendo così un cerchio che dal Festival di Sanremo arriva fino al palco milanese, passando per i reparti del Niguarda.

Il Fatto Quotidiano: Strage di Crans-Montana: “Jacques Moretti ha confermato che l’uscita di emergenza era chiusa a chiave”

Ha ammesso che la porta di emergenza del seminterrato del bar Le Constellation era bloccata dall’interno e di aver sostituito lui stesso la schiuma fono assorbente che ha preso fuoco. Le indiscrezioni circolate negli scorsi giorni e riferite da alcuni testimoni trovano una clamorosa conferma: a riferire le due circostanze agli inquirenti impegnati nel far luce sulla strage di Crans-Montana, nella quale sono morti 40 giovani, è stato Jacques Moretti, il co-proprietario del locale nel quale si è consumata la tragedia poco dopo la mezzanotte di Capodanno.
A riferirlo è la televisione svizzera Rts, citando fonti confidenziali: Moretti, in carcere da venerdì, lo avrebbe ammesso davanti ai magistrati della procura di Sion durante l’interrogatorio. Il co-titolare, giunto sul posto dopo l’incendio, avrebbe anche affermato di aver sbloccato lui stesso la porta dall’esterno e di aver trovato diversi corpi esanimi ammucchiati davanti ad essa. Insieme alla moglie Jessica Maric, messa ai domiciliari con braccialetto elettronico, Moretti è accusato di omicidio colposo, incendio colposo e lesioni personali colpose. Secondo Rts, le circostanze emerse nell’interrogatorio potrebbero indurre la procura a valutare la contestazione del reato di omicidio per dolo eventuale. Il personale del locale, come emerso negli scorsi giorni, era consapevole dei rischi associati alla schiuma: già durante la notte di San Silvestro del 2019, infatti, un cameriere aveva avvertito i clienti di fare attenzione alla possibilità che si sviluppassero fiamme dall’isolamento acustico del soffitto in caso di contatto con materiale incendiato.

Rumors that had circulated in the past few days and reported by some witnesses have received a sensational confirmation: Jacques Moretti, the co-owner of the establishment where the tragedy occurred shortly after midnight on New Year’s Eve, reported both circumstances to the investigators involved in shedding light on the Crans-Montana massacre, in which 40 young people died.

Swiss television RTS is reporting this, citing confidential sources: Moretti, who has been in prison since Friday, reportedly admitted this to the magistrates of the Sion prosecution office during the interrogation. The co-owner, who arrived at the scene after the fire, also stated that he had unlocked the door himself from the outside and that he found several lifeless bodies piled up in front of it. Together with his wife Jessica Maric, placed under house arrest with an electronic bracelet, Moretti is accused of manslaughter, reckless arson, and reckless personal injury. According to RTS, the circumstances revealed in the interrogation could lead the prosecution to consider charging Moretti with possible intent to kill. If so, Jacques and Jessica Moretti could face up to 20 years in prison.

RTS also came to know another key element of the investigation concerning the ceiling foam. During the interrogation, Jacques Moretti declared that he personally replaced the sound-absorbing foam from which the fire originated. He explained that he removed the old acoustic foam and replaced it with foam purchased from a Hornbach hardware store. The establishment’s staff, as had emerged in the past few days, was aware of the risks associated with the foam: already during New Year’s Eve night in 2019, a waiter had warned customers to be careful about the possibility of flames developing from the ceiling’s acoustic insulation in the event of contact with flammable material.
