AGI - Le autorità giapponesi hanno confermato il primo attacco mortale di un orso dell'anno. Secondo quanto riferito da un funzionario del Ministero dell'Ambiente, la vittima è una donna di 55 anni, deceduta lo scorso 21 aprile nella prefettura di Iwate, nel nord del Paese.
Nel frattempo, la polizia sta indagando su altri due decessi che potrebbero essere stati causati da plantigradi. Un corpo è stato rinvenuto giovedì in un'altra località della regione di Iwate, mentre un secondo cadavere è stato trovato martedì in una foresta nella prefettura di Yamagata.

Al momento, stando a quanto riferito dal governo giapponese, non si segnalano criticità per le centrali nucleari presenti nell’area.
