I have this issue sometimes with my Linux laptop. Things I've done to fix it:
Restart Chrome
Turn the volume off then on again
Change my audio output to something else and then back to where it was (sometimes I think the audio stack just gets lost or confused)
Log out and log in again
Restart machine

teledyn 𓂀Managed to cobble a provisionally workable workspace. Had to. #UbuntuStudio 23.04 upgrade bricks the Main Machine on boot, only accessible by ssh from an hp with broken keys who upgraded without incident.
