I caught this wrinkled soldier beetle (Podabrus rugosulus) just as they were popping their elytra to fly off:

This black carpenter ant (Camponotus pennsylvanicus) was very busy exploring a leafy plant, but I was still able to get some glamor shots with my macro lens:

This little fly guy landed on my glasses while we were hiking Thompson Park; I had to have @Thomas_Llama take a picture, because my hands were busy holding the glasses (I had taken them off to get a better look). Best guess is it's a spear-winged fly, 𝘓𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘢:

There were a lot of buttercups (𝘙𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘶𝘴 sp.) blooming on our last hike on the Wiley Trails, and many of them had these wee bugs on them. The bugs were so tiny it was hard to get a good picture even with the macro lens, but I believe that they're plant bug nymphs (family Miridae), my best guess being black plant bugs (𝘊𝘢𝘱𝘴𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳):
