This morning, I am making eggs & listening to Imaginary Life by The Worriers.
Picked this one of up BMV, a 4 story used book store in downtown Toronto. I was already pretty familiar with the band.
The lead singer for Worriers is nonbinary & I think they wrote probably the closest thing we have to a nonbinary anthem, the album was also produced by Laura Jane Grace, so it has some real trans cred.
Still snow on the ground, its lasted much longer then I assumed it would.
Listening to a local band today, The Rural Alberta Advantage & there 2017 album The Wild.
I joke about the Millennial whoop but it pretty much only shows up in the song Brother, which happens to also be the best song off this album.
And yes despite the name they are from Toronto.

Nick Cave is one of Australia's, and dare I say it, global legends.
An iconic musician of dark ballad rock (no, wait!), born out of the fertile, Indy #Melbourne #rock scene, he is also a poet, writer and a script writer. Touched by personal tragedy (he lost both of his kids) he became darker...and lighter.
As an inspired person, he spent a lot of time introspecting his soul and the world, and because he is good with words, tells us about pain and all the other emotions forged in human heart.
What I wanted to say, his "Red Hand Files" have just hit 300 issues.
I would struggle to classify it, the closest I came to is; "Spirituality for the non spiritual"
If you eschew gods and their incomprehensibly foul games, his writings will resonate with you, bringing hope where there is none, and light in the midst of darkness.
You will vibe at a higher frequency.
