Alles wat bestaat torst de hele evolutie. Elk bestaan overkoepelt talloze levens. Elk bestaan staat niet apart. Strekt zich uit over miljoenen jaren. Vormt een continu proces. Net zoals ontwaken een continu proces is. Alles is één. En eindigt niet met één separaat leven. Maar evolueert gestaag verder in transformatie. In permanente mutatie. Zoals de vlam van een opgebrande kaars een nieuwe kaars aansteekt.
Dit is wijsheid (P. panna): de dingen zien zoals ze zijn. Yatha-bhuta. Uit deze wijsheid volgt een diep mededogen (P. karuna) voor alle levende wezens. Compassie.
Laat panna en karuna je richtsnoer zijn. Beter: Maha-panna en Maha-karuna.
