As shared earlier by me, in my opinion, this is true for most sports, entertainment and political celebrities (and their followers) irrespective of any country.
Publicity, in Mastodon, is harder compared to that in Twitter or Facebook. The endless dopamine cycle that rewards both creators and users is missing in Mastodon.

Most sports, entertainment and political celebrities (and their followers) will find it hard to accept Mastodon. They would prefer commercial social media sites with algorithms to promote engaging content and reach of their account with viral surges and high-voltage reactions. Their users must get to know the extent of virality of a post though number of likes, shares etc. Mastodon cannot offer these features and passive income. So Twitter, Instagram etc. will continue to grow. #Mastodon
I think it is safe to say that most of #IndianTwitter will not make the shift to #MastIndia. People have built their identities around that place and many who hate it won’t be able to let go.
Even as fascists take over the remaining spaces and misinformation spreads, they will be posting Wordle scores like the two noblemen in Satyajit Ray’s “Satranj Ke Khiladi” who played chess while the British entered Lucknow. #India

Thanks for putting up with me #MSTDN - all my Indian followers from #IndianTwitter have dropped off my radar here, bored with my long silences.
I think I need to toot here and tweet there. And. Not Or.
#IndianTwitter looks so sh!tty!
India is a land of laws and not only common ppl but even politicians celebrate extra judicial killings as heroism.
Ppl they didn't save our daughter, they didn't prosecuted the accused, they killed em to gt awy with d pressure! Is it heroism? Hw?
