The box crushing Inceptor of the squad.
Amazingly, his foot didn't just go through the top of the box and make his landing look rediculous.
Using one of my mis-cast boxes he sits at the lower end of flight stand height.
I also modelled and painted the jets from the jet-pack to look as if they are powering down upon landing.
The fence-hopping Inceptor of this squad.
The fence is plastic rods and plasticard.
Bent to show the weight of his power armour, even though he's using the jet pack to hop over.
A pin runs from his foot through the fence and into the base, hidden by the bush.

I have a dislike for clear flight stands, so these got unique bases.
Plus some minor reposing and sculpted flames for the jetpacks.
And I used 9 different metallic paints on these, just because I could.

And last, but not least, the brick wall Inceptor.
The wall is made of "mostly" separate bricks of plaster and foamcore.
Then pieces of broken plaster were placed individually to create the cracked plaster layer on each face of the wall.

Using one side of one of my cast boxes and some scraps, I had this Inceptor crushing a box on landing.
Also, for his jets I modelled them curled up and painted them partially orange to indicate them powering down as he lands.

This is the fence-hopping Inceptor.
While he uses the jets to leap, he is placing enough weight onto the fence to bend it.
He is actually pinned all the way into the base and the support is hidden by the bush.

Space Marine Inceptors.
I have a strong dislike for clear flight stands, so I do things like this.
This trio of Inceptors all have a handy piece of terrain to keep them at about the right height.
One is hopping a fence with the help of his jet-pack.
Another is landing on a box (and is lucky the box has crushed).
And the last is smashing his way though a wall.
Also of note is that I used 9 different metallic paints on these.
