@peter @homelab I've done it both ways. You can export the #vhdx directly from the #hyper_v host and then import it to #proxmox , convert it, and you're ready to go. You can also restore the #veeam backup to Proxmox. In both cases you need to make sure the networks and CPUs match up before you fire them up for the first time. The hardest part about the direct Hyper-V export method is you have to shut down the VM and finding a storage location that can be written to by HyperV and read by Proxmox.

GateLinkerI haven't seen #reactos for 8 years as it didn't boot on #hyper_v since 2016. Every new version failed.
Today I found out that ReactOS still runs on Hyper-V from Server 2008 R2.
It was nice to see that all my UI software starts on it (except #OpenGL stuff).
It is a tragedy that there is no Non-Unix-based #opensource #OS available that is mature and ready to join the end-user market.
(Only #FreeDOS kind of succeeded).
I would like to see more #HaikuOS, #reactos or #osfree.
