After reading about Ktor and disocvering is pretty much ExpressJS in Kotlin version I've decided my choice of making Sparkr servers in Elixir inside a Docker container (Podman if FreeBSD compatibility is better) is the very right choice.
Elixir ecosystem is MULTIPLE ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE superior to Ktor.
Who killed the Oban worker?
Was it OOM with the -9 in the OS?
Was it K8s with the teardown in the pods?
The Selberts take you on a production murder mystery in this fascinating talk.

Join us on a thrilling detective tale as we investigate three mysterious Oban failures that haunted users and stumped our finest agents. Meet the victims, follow the clues, and uncover the motivations behind these job deaths. Why did they die, and is it true that they came back to life?
Sanne was early on our roster, one of those OG supporters and she brought a lovely dive into BEAM scheduling.

Until recently, I took the magic of the BEAM for granted. Like many of us, I spawned processes, passed messages and happily used concurrency without much thought about how any of it really worked. While there is so much more to learn than fits in any one talk, this one aims to give an overview of the Erlang Scheduler and how it allows us write concurrent software without having to think about the hard parts.
Tonite I am working on the ecto chapter in "Practical Flutter & Phoenix", will cover the following.
☑️Repo, Schemas and Changesets
☑️Migrations
☑️Associations
☑️Transactions
☑️Showcase all code via Iex.
Hoping to finish this by EOD tomorrow 🚀..
Do embedded with the BEAM? The Nerves Newsletter is adding segments to cover the wider BEAM embedded ecosystem. We're perhaps the loudest project but we see so much useful overlap and sharing with AtomVM, GRiSP, the new BEAM Bots, Meta Erlang.
If you want to track it, sign up: https://underjord.io/nerves-newsletter.html
If you have cool projects to share, let me know!

"Could you get me a skull?" The phenomenal presentations requires the weird preparations.
Don't miss the standing ovation at the end..
Saša Jurić brought "Tell me a story" to the Goatmire stage and people have been asking for the video ever since. Phenomenal contents, delightful presentation. A must.

The CFP season is open. I've submitted to ElixirConf EU already. I have the one for Code BEAM Stockholm in my inbox. What would people like to hear. I can always come up with something but I'm curious if there are parts of things that I do that are more interesting to people.
