Got Benson’s shoes on a little early for his vet appointment so he can adjust to them. While Leeloo is quick to get up and going, Benson takes a little bit.
Benson doesn’t wear his shoes as regularly as Leeloo wears hers, because he hasn’t needed to. But he’s been having trouble with the floors at the vet lately.
Waiting to see if he remembers what the shoes are all about. For now, he’s no longer going in and out trying to hurt his feet again.
I’m not sure if this will make things better or worse, though.
I kinda hope it keeps him settled until there’s more thaw.
I might have to consider getting some dog slippers designed for longer wear.

Leeloo needs her shoes when visiting stores and whatnot. She refuses to walk on glossy floors without them.

To deal with the short zipper pull, I added zipper pull loops. They are a tad long, but way better. I can tuck it under the first layer of strap, then up in the velcro. No more jingle!
Never had the V3 shoes, so don’t know if these had the same issue. V2 had longer zipper pulls that easily tucked behind the strap.
I plan to offer this feedback to #Hunnyboots.
So here are my thoughts on the V4 #Hunnyboots:
* Following their sizing, they seem to fit a little looser. I still need to use socks on Leeloo’s back feet for the size suggested.
* Leeloo’s feet looked way better after her walk. She seemed less bothered by wearing them.
* She seems to have an easier time walking as they seem more flexible.
* There was almost no rolling on her feet.
* The new strap is way better (came in V3).
* Zipper pull is too short.
