Vickie Gray 🍁PSA: I am in the process of adopting a greyhound, so there will be many photos of this new delight. He will be our 6th retired racing greyhound, filling a gap in our hearts left by our most recent sweet boy in January.
For those of you who know how this process goes, I have no date, no dog info, and only one picture, which I stare at several times a day. The likely lad will be coming from #Australia to #Canada in the next month or so, and he has no idea how loved he will be.
Please be patient as your feed is inundated with photos of a skinny dog doing absolutely nothing.
This has become Sam’s favorite bed.
It’s the oldest bed I have. Almost 8 years old I’m sure. Well broken in and probably still smells a bit like Benson and Leeloo.
This is where she sleeps at night. And after morning routine, she goes right back to it.

Got me and Sam ready for evening walk. Before heading out, I step out to check the mail.
No rain.
I come back in and get Sam leashed. Open the front door and Sam is heading out.
Rain.
She won't come back in, so I pick her up and carry her in. Grab our matching yellow raincoats and head out.
No rain.
Normal evening route is essentially 2 loops a mile each, passing by home in the middle. Stop by home to remove raincoats because it's a bit warm. Head back out.
Trying to rain on us.
Ugh.
