the ultimate "does this app try to be good for the user" test is whether it has a monochromatic icon if that setting in the OS is on
Completely hostile UX.
I’m searching for a rental at the beach for our wedding anniversary. Vrbo is so intent on getting people to register for their rewards program that I CANNOT CONTINUE MY SEARCH until I sign up.
Just unsubscribed my former roommate from Marlboro's paper marketing. She quit smoking ~10 years ago and no longer lives in country.
The ONLY way to get off their mailing list is to call. I was on hold for 15 minutes. They have 6 seconds of music and a 10 second message.
Finally got through and they wanted her full name and date of birth to remove the entry (although when I told the agent she'd moved she just did it).
Then: “Home” shoved down your throat, even if you repeatedly choose “Latest Tweets”.
Now: “For You” instead of “Following”.
#WTF #Twitter? Why can’t you respect the user’s choice? 😠
Your #recommendations are #toxic.
