RufusMax hates other cats
He hates them coming into his territory, gets upset when he sees one out the window
So when we rescued Molly, we introduced them SLOWLY
First 2 weeks, she was in her own room. We put things that smelled of her in his favourite places
Then we let them eat treats on either side of a doorway covered with a scarf. They saw each other briefly
Then short times together, slowly getting longer
It worked. Now he tolerates her
And she LOVES him
Sometimes I feel like a competent, professional, 40-something, and then I have to look up formal business letter formatting because I use it less than once a year and feel like a child.

Why are End Citizens United fundraising emails indistinguishable from Trump ones in style and tactic?
Grammarly left fingerprints all over the email headers and yet the red-letter call to action is missing "survey" making it word salad.
ECU's privacy policy email address responded to my CCPA do not sell/unsubscribe request with an automated message saying they don't respond to their emails due to a high volume of mail.

The lazy part of my brain says I should just mix toasted sesame oil with some seasoning salt instead of making ssamjang, but then the overachieving part has decided I HAVE to do both now.

So a WFH employee's computer died, a new one was provisioned she was squirrely about returning the old one, but I need to yank the drive and retire it properly so I insisted. The vents are full of cat hair and the entire back half is rusted and my office smells like cat pee and the casing is fused in place.
That's how my day is going.
