I maintain a local area website. This week I've been improving my events editing/listing code. The big upgrade has been to allow repeating events e.g. pub quiz nights or repair cafes. That's so that I can create one entry for them rather than many. To do it I've used (a subset of) https://icalendar.org/iCalendar-RFC-5545/3-8-5-3-recurrence-rule.html because then it's easy to keep the iCal updated. I wrote a little bit of code to work out the repeats so that I could show the full list of events at https://horsforth.town/events/

Back in mid July I saw this postbox topper. The person/people who do these usually make them topical and/or locally relevant but I don't know who this represents. Any ideas?
