Today in 2021, Christopher Plummer died.
One of Canada's greatest actors, he was nominated for 3 Oscars, winning once, 7 Tonys, winning 3 times and 7 Emmys, winning twice. He was also nominated for 15 Genie/Gemini/CSAs, winning four times.
