Next weekend, 12th April, is the 35th Anniversary of #Highlander 2 here in the UK! (The US had to wait until November to get their butchered cut)
My plan was to watch the Hong Kong #laserdisc (the only known official (ish) release of the International Cut of the film with the original English soundtrack) but I'm going to be away all next weekend and can't take a laserdisc player with me...so tonight will do.
Also I fancied an Ardbeg tonight instead of Glenmorangie again.
Woohoo! I love this film but my one, fairly large, gripe, is that I can't stand Brenda, and for all the unlikely and outrageous things I was prepared to accept, I could never believe that he would be attracted to her. *I* would obviously have been a much better choice and had the advantage of being called Heather đ

The ticket says Highlander but I'm pretty sure this would have been for Highlander II: The Quickening, which Is a shame because Highlander is brilliant, whilst Highlander II: The Quickening is widely regarded as one of the worst films ever made.
