Today was Pinner Fair, an event which began with a Royal Charter drawn up by King Edward the Second in 1336. and which has been held every year since, even through the two World Wars. It was even held through the time of Covid, but the rides were only shown for display, and unable to be ridden. However it did mean that the fair was held, and therefore the condition of the original charter remained unbroken.
