Extreme heat forecast for weekend triggers Extreme Heat Watch in Southwest U.S.
The National Weather Service issued an Extreme Heat Watch for parts of southern Arizona and far southeastern California from the morning of June 14 through the evening of June 16, 2025. Temperatures will soar to well-above average heading into the start of the work week, with readings peaking on Tuesday.
