Honestly, if your car stereo is as low-end as you say then the #Apple #headphone adapter might be good enough. It would certainly be cheaper, and it would run cooler. On an Android phone at least, it seems to use the cheap and grotty #DAC that's built into the phone — yes, USB C carries analogue audio — but, for a cheap stereo in a noisy location, that might not matter. As before, you'd feed the output into an FM transmitter of your choice; there seem to be plenty on offer.

Getting here took 10 days of back and forth (and back and forth!) with OnePlus to unlock the bootloader. But it is in *pristine* condition with only *very* slight screen burn-in. Add a bit more if you want one without that.

Whatever idiot decided to replace phones' #headphone jacks with #USB-C ports should me forced to eat every #USBC to 2.5mm headphone adapter that has failed.
My #Google #Pixel is useless without a working headphone jack. My flipphone from 2008 was more useful.
And don't suggest #Bluetooth. I can't pair Bluetooth with a 25-year-old keyboard amp or any of my professional-grade #audio gear. Even if I could, Bluetooth has lossy garbage compression.

my #1MORE Dual Driver ANC Pro with long battery life, ANC, LDAC and a convenient neckloop that kept me from loosing them, stopped charging yesterday...
very annoying.
Likely, the battery got discharged below a threshold and now the charging-circuit is refusing to charge it up again.
Will try to fix, but taking apart tiny devices is fraught with peril.
The only alternative seem to be either bad or very expensive #TWS, however.
