Two updates:
1) The latest #crochet project did very well on holiday and I don't think you can even tell that the very first thing I did was spill tomato sauce all over it (and then attempt to wash it off in a public bathroom sink, while still wearing it).
2) Don't go to Greece in July. It hot π©
24 Hours of Cover-up Success!
Blocked, weaved, drawstringed and tasseled. Oh and those crabs got a decent chunk of sky, too.
Productive weekend!
#24HoCS day two has not exactly gone to plan.
Usually I just hole up in the house and undramatically rack up hours while ignoring the real world. But this time we had to go outside, got rained on a lot, and accidentally became bystanders to what I can only describe as A Stressful Public Incident.
But I've managed to finish off the body of this coverup, so there's that. It needs blocking and weaving and a drawstring but that can be a next week problem.
Now back to cross stitching those crabs!
It's 24 Hours of Cross Stitch weekend and honestly I'm not going into this one feeling confident at all! Too tired, too hot, too having-a-wedding-ring-crisis, too all-round bleugh.
So I'll be joining Team Rebel for this one, I think. Here are my plans:
- 4 days instead of 3
- Multiple projects instead of my usual single-minded focus
- One of those projects is crochet (shush)

Ok I spent basically all week raging at technology, probably time to do some actual crafts instead.
Come, crochet, heal my bitter soul.
Too lazy to actually make the pic, but imagine the jealous girlfriend meme with me as the guy, eyeing up this white crochet coverup project instead of the unloved and much-procrastinated sock that I'm SUPPOSED to be making.
