This week's massively overdue finished project pic is these Year of Plenty socks, completed at the end of last year but somehow never posted. Oops!
I picked up the pattern as part of the @fastenoffyal 2024 and had to modify it to use my usual 64 stitches for a better fit.
This was also my tester project on mini circulars, which was a bit of a learning curve!
My knitted sock drawer is officially getting too full...
Too lazy to actually make the pic, but imagine the jealous girlfriend meme with me as the guy, eyeing up this white crochet coverup project instead of the unloved and much-procrastinated sock that I'm SUPPOSED to be making.

It really hasn't been much of a craft week this week, for reasons. But I have managed to turn this heel and do a fair bit of leg, so that's a small victory right there.

Been having a bit of bother with this sock.
My original plan was to test out the Addi Sock Wonder mini circular that I picked up last year. But despite reasssurances from all sides that it would change my life I kind of...hated it right from the start?
Gave it a good go, but after a bit of research I found that those ones are nearly an inch longer than most mini circs. And since I have pretty narrow feet, maybe the length was the issue?
I ordered a more standard 9" one instead (ChiaoGoo Knit Red) and two rounds in, it already seems much better!
We live and learn.
Feeling much better tonight, hurrah!
I credit this partially to the fact that I thought we might be running out of Christmas chocolates, but we've actually got (had, until a moment ago) a whole unopened thing of Celebrations so crisis averted.
This sock has been sitting unloved for weeks so time for a spot of progress, I think...
@fastenoffyal I cast on the Year of Plenty socks by Debbie Sullivan, but will probably have to frog and rechart a bit as the stitch count is too big for my pansy narrow feet and it means the stitch pattern disappears because it doesn't get stretched out enough 😅
