Life update

Husband brought home lots of water from work. It didn't go very far - washed up some dishes & cutlery last night ( including cat bowls) and made dinner/ had washes.

one litre of water in a basin or bowl doesn't look much #HandWash

He then got lots of water from a friend outside the dry zone, for me to take to work ( I am not connected to water, like a caravan) Then people near us reported they had water back!!! But we still don't have any this morning. Thankfully have heating.

On the advice of a dermatologist, I've been using homemade #handwash made with #Castile soap and water for about the last six weeks. Today was the first day I needed to use the store bought handwash. And, wow, I could notice a huge difference.

The handwash I make with castile soap is so much better. I just wish I had heard about castile soap handwash years ago.

Just made my second batch of DIY foaming handwash using liquid Castile soap and water.

Wish I had heard of this years ago. So much better on the skin, and less expensive than the store bought options.

It's a super simple recipe:

1 part liquid Castile soap
3 parts cooled boiled water

1 foaming pump bottle

(Lasts for two - three weeks)
