I've played devil's advocate a lot for Ford. Never voted PC, never supported them, but conservatives lately seemed to be the only people who took the gravity of the housing crisis seriously. Going after municipal governments for dragging their feet on approvals was the right thing to do.

But dismantling great public institutions like the Science Centre and now pulling a #HWY407Repeat on Ontario Place shows how Ford's interest in housing is incidental to his interest in cronies.
