Τόσα χρόνια ήξερα ότι στο μπόουλινγκ το pin λέγεται "κορίνα". Τώρα διαβάζω ότι γράφεται ως "κορύνα". Μάλλον προέρχεται από το αρχαίο "κορύνη", ένα ρόπαλο το οποίο χρησίμευε ως πολεμικό όργανο/κυνηγετικό όπλο.

Π.χ. τραίνο ή τρένο. Άλλα μάθαινα στο δημοτικό, πριν 20 χρόνια, άλλα μαθαίνω τώρα. Η ίδια η ελληνική γλώσσα ένα χάος :/

Took me a few days to come up with some more, but here you go. Another expression that we use is "the mare shat herself on the threshing floor".

But there's more. We commonly say "I'm not going to sit down and erupt over this", which is also commonly abbreviated to "my erupting" (it's a word that doesn't exist outside of this slang expression). So maybe the most elaborate version is: "My big erupting and ten parrots, my small erupting and ten mice". It even rhymes nicely in Greek.
