Note the damage to the emulsion and the light leak. Inspection of the holder revealed a dent in one of the rails; I have withdrawn this holder from use until it is repaired.

From my second attempt at photos with a 110-year-old camera for #FolderWeekโ€”first, the glass plates.

Plate 1: The new build on the edge of town.

๐Ÿ“ท: French Tropical Camera,

๐ŸŽž๏ธ: Zebra 9x12 cm glass plate
๐Ÿงช: Moersch Eco 4812

Note the damage to the emulsion. I need to rethink my loading and development technique.

Today I will be developing the photos I took yesterday with my Duplouich Tropical camera for #FolderWeek. I will be developing the glass plates using Moersch Eco 4812 and the Kentmere in Spur Acurol-N.

My first attempt at shooting glass plates with this camera was not very successful. I couldnโ€™t fathom out the weird aperture scale. The exposures were way underexposed - the best one is shown below, along with the glass plate negative and positive.
