I've bought used ham gear several times, but usually buy new. Honestly, I've had just as many problems with new gear as with used gear. #AnecdotalEvidence from a #StatisticalSampling of one, so of course YMMV.
All I've tested so far work, except data modes. Y'all know what 2500Hz of a busy FT8 band sounds like. On USB, fine. But DATA-U makes a grumbling sound.
