So I have a #Yaesu #FT991a that I'm using with #rigctl , but I can't figure out how to get whether or not it's scanning. Anyone have any ideas?

Art H.I think I have a stuck relay in my #Yaesu #FT991A antenna tuner board. 40 meters refuses to tune on an antenna it had no problems with in the past. It looks like Mouser carries the relays I need.
And yes, I have examined my antenna and feedline for any issue you may care to mention.

Problem: As a user #Wavelog , I need to fire up #flrig & #waveloggate in Linux for it to read QRG from #FT991A.
Solution: FT991A is connected to a smart power monitoring switch. When radio turns on, HA reads 100W drawn by radio.
An automation sends a #mqtt message which payload “ON”. Ubuntu is running a simple #bash script & subscribed to mqtt topic. When On is detected, it fires up flrig & wavelog. Kills both apps when payload off is received

Kann man den Wasserfall wirklich nicht fixieren? Also so wie "Fix" beim icom? Immer wenn man am VFO dreht, wird einem schwindlig und man findet garantiert nicht die Station die man vorher gesehen hat.
Klar, alles gewöhnungssache, aber das muss doch gehen, oder nicht?!
Yesterday I struggled to get #RattleGram to work transmitting via USB (i.e. not mic) when the #FT991A was set to 2m FM. But now I’ve figured it out.
I have not yet tested whether all 4 of these things needed to be set.
Stay tuned for me to whine that nobody can seem to hear me talking into the hand mic. LOL
